About me

I am a mother and wife who is lucky to live with my husband, my 12-year-old daughter and her grandmother, my mother-in-law.

I was born and grew up in Istanbul, Turkey and now live in St. Albans, England. I wanted to see the world and learn new languages, so after completing my first degree in International Trade I moved to Germany, where I lived for a year before moving to England. Here I met my amazing future husband. I was always interested in art so in England I did an Art Foundation, which led on to my second degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design. In my final year, our beautiful girl came into my world. But I managed to finish the degree!

Ups and downs came and went and although at times I didn’t know how to cope, somehow I managed to carry on while still seeking a way to help myself along with others to overcome problems while retaining a sense of gratitude and joy. Discovering that by changing my focus slightly I could focus on the solution rather than the problem was a wonderful feeling, a great relief, and empowering to my own life in many visible, practical ways. This is what I received when I discovered and began to study Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. With his knowledge and practice, alongside the experience of my own life, I have also been blessed to witness many others discover and unfold the power in themselves, to the world. Sometimes they never even knew it was there (though it always is!)

The results of helping clients to discover and use their own resources sometimes seem miraculous, and although ultimately it’s all their own work, are very rewarding.
